Alliance Learning Studio
At the Alliance for the Advancement of Infant Mental Health, our Learning Studio offers an array of thoughtfully designed opportunities to support and develop skills and knowledge in key topics relevant to the practice of infant and early childhood mental health (IECMH), the provision of reflective supervision, relationship-based work, and reflective practice. We offer a variety of opportunities to learn, connect, and grow, including trainings, workshops, learning series, webinars, reflective groups and communities of practice for Direct Service Providers and Reflective Supervision/Consultation Providers.
Trainings
Structured, integrative learning experiences that combine expert-led presentations with discussion-based engagement. Trainings offer participants the chance to dive deep into topics, explore practical applications, and participate in meaningful conversations that enhance practice in IECMH and reflective work.
Workshops
Hands-on sessions that focus on addressing specific challenges and "sticking points" in practice. Workshops provide opportunities to practice skills, explore real-world scenarios, and engage in collaborative problem-solving with peers.
Learning Series
Ongoing learning opportunities designed to build knowledge and foster reflection over time. Participants engage with peers through multiple sessions, deepening their understanding and enhancing their skills in a supportive, continuity-focused environment.
Webinars
Expert-led presentations that offer insights into key topics relevant to IECMH and reflective practice. Webinars provide valuable opportunities to learn from thought leaders and gain fresh perspectives, typically in a listening and observation-focused format.
Communities of Practice
A collaborative, peer-driven space where professionals gather to connect, share experiences, and learn together. Facilitated by the Alliance, these sessions are not formal trainings but rather a platform for exploring shared interests, discussing emerging ideas, and growing within a network of supportive colleagues.
