Advancing and sustaining infant and early childhood mental health (IECMH) efforts has become increasingly vital in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic. Caregivers are facing more stress, access to quality childcare has diminished, and workforce challenges continue to impact programs. Sustainability in IECMH is not just about securing funding but ensuring it supports the integrity and effectiveness of the work. This workshop will explore how to build political and public will, use a relational approach to funding, and apply evidence-based messaging to support IECMH programs in different political landscapes, while also addressing current IECMH policies to further these efforts.
