Janice E. Jones earned a PhD in Urban Education with a specialization in Counseling Psychology and a minor in Multicultural Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Janice completed three years predoctoral work and one-year post-doctoral work at the Medical College of Wisconsin serving patients who came to the clinic through psychiatric crisis services in Milwaukee County. She also completed a two year post-doctoral program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health. Janice’s research interests include children in out of home care, attachment issues and improving education. Dr. Jones serves on the board of Kids Matter Inc and is also a Court Appointed Special Advocate for youth in foster care. Dr. Jones is the Director of Doctoral Programming at Carroll University in Waukesha, WI.
