Christopher Watson

Christopher Watson is founding director of the Reflective Practice Center at CEED, the Center for Early Education and Development, in the Institute of Child Development, University of Minnesota. His work is centered on reflective supervision and consultation (RS/C) to support practitioners working with young children and their families. He led a national team of researchers and clinicians in developing the Reflective Interaction Observation Scale (RIOS) to define and operationalize RS/C. The RIOS™ is used as a framework for practice as well as for research.
